Who pays for the trees?
The Participating Organizations include:
Chicago Council, U. S Navy League, Chicago
Marine Heritage Society, Chicago Yachting Association, United States Coast
Guard Auxiliary, Friends of the Marine Community, International Shipmasters
Association, Recruiting & Public Information Council, United States Coast
Guard, and Navy Pier.
Tax Deductible contributions are accepted from
individuals, groups, and organizations at
Chicago's Christmas Ship
web site.
Who distributes for the trees?
The United Way of Chicago coordinates the
selection of and distribution of the Christmas trees. I found an article
about this in their "Impact Magazine" which is available on the
United Way of Chicago's
page entitled United Way Community Impact, Impact Newsletter. Click on
