Windows Stuff
Microsoft Windows3.1, Windows95, Windows98, and coming soon...Windows2000
It seems that if you use a Windows Operating System (above) on your computer, you need to know some Windows Stuff in order to make your life on the internet easier and more enjoyable. I know from experience, that Windows Stuff troubles most new Internet Users more than the Browser. So, it seems that it would be important to cover some of the Windows Stuff before we get into the actual browser and more internet stuff.
Instead of re-inventing the wheel, I am going to refer you to George and Mike's Windows95 Tutorial. I found it recently and am very impressed with it and the way it is laid out. Please click on the link below to go to George and Mike's Window's95 Tutorial. Note that this link will open in a new window so when you are finished with your Windows95 stuff, just close "their" window and look on your task bar for Internet Beginners Tutorial to return to this page.

George and Mike's Guide to Windows95Also, you may want to take a Windows95 course at NWTC-Marinette. Please consult the course schedule for the next Windows class. They are scheduled frequently as Windows is a "core" course in understanding and mastering any Windows based application...including browsing the internet.
