Microsoft Internet Explorer (MSIE5.0)
Note:  if you use Netscape, I will be building IBT Browser Pages for you soon

Ready for the Final steps?  Here we go.

1.  Close all of your programs, your browser, everything...and get back to your desk top. Yes, you should even close your internet connection.  We are going to install a program (Adobe Acrobat Reader) on our computers and most programs recommend that you close all programs before you install anything.

2.  Find the My Computer icon on your desktop. Double left click it to open it.

3.  You will see the My Computer window...

4.  Find the "C" drive and double left click it to open it. (we are, of course, looking for/finding our download folder on our "C" drive, the one which contains the ar405eng.exe file.)

5.  You will see the "C" drive window (below) and in it...the download folder.  If you don't see the download folder, don't panic, simply scroll (scroll bar on the left and bottom if necessary) until you find it.  If you just made a new download folder, it may be at the bottom of the "C" drive window.  Anyhow, find the download folder and double left click it to open it.  Hang on...we're almost there now.

6.  Once you have located and double clicked the download folder, you will see this:

7.  The final step...FINALLY!  Whew...lots of work huh?  Well, I think that you will find your next download adventure a bit easier...now that you have plodded thru this tutorial...actually, I would be willing to bet that once you do this, and once you have a download folder, and once you feel comfortable finding the download folder on your "C" drive, well...I'll bet that you will think this process is EASY!  And it will be, now that you are a PRO at downloading.

8.  The final step is to command the computer to install ar405eng.exe on your computer.  So, take a deep breath, point to the ar405eng.exe icon and double left click it.

9.  Just follow the steps as the installation program walks you thru the process.  Once complete, you can re-connect to the internet and return to this page...ok?  Good luck!

Let's go to the next download page and continue our discussion.  Please click here or click on Downloading VI below.
