I. How do I create a folder on Windows95 or 98?
(According to the help menu in Windows95)1. Click the Start button at the bottom left side of your task bar
2. Click Help
3. Click the Contents Tab (if it isn't already selected)
4. Click Exploring Your Computer
5. Click Files and Folders
6. Click Managing Files
7. Click Create a Folder
And...this is what you will see:
To create a folder
Click the drive in Windows Explorer where you want to create the new folder.
On the File menu, point to New, and then click Folder.
The new folder appears with a temporary name.
Type a name for the new folder, and then press ENTER.
Note
If you want to create a new folder within a folder, click the folder and then follow steps two and three above.
II. How can I find a file on Windows95 or 98?
(According to the help menu in Windows95)1. Click the Start button at the bottom left side of your task bar
2. Click Help
3. Click the Contents Tab (if it isn't already selected)
4. Click Exploring Your Computer
5. Click Files and Folders
6. Click Searching For Files
7. Click Find a File or Folder
And...this is what you will see:
To find a file or folder
Click Start, point to Find, and then click Files or Folders.
In Named, type all or part of the file name.
Enter a word or phrase in Containing text if you do not know the name of a file but know a distinctive word or phrase it contains.
If you want to specify the location to start the search, click Browse.
Click Find Now.
Note
If you want the search to be case-sensitive, click the Options menu and make sure a check mark appears next to Case Sensitive. Click to create the check mark; click again to clear it.
