To insert the Smart Media card, just "Pop" the door open on the right side of your camera, (you can use your fingernail) and make sure that the Smart Media card is facing you, and gently push the card into the compartment until you feel it "lock" into place. Once in a while, it will "Pop" back out...so just push it in again and then... close the Smart Media card door.
We're almost ready to take our first picture but first, we need to take off the lens cap...
Then, we need to turn on the camera...(rotate the dial from "OFF" to "P")
