  About Us

Cindy is a computer person by trade (ITV & Networking Technician) , has a background in video and computer programming, is a highly skilled photographer, a very talented artist, a web page builder, and a music lover.  Also, she has a keen "sense" about nature, seems to be "in tune" with it and all things natural. 

If you are ever confused by some of the terms Cindy uses in her tips/tricks articles, you may want to check out her  "Cindy's Country Talk Dictionary"  page.  Country Terms are explained in "plain english???." 

I am a computer instructor (Office applications, Windows, Internet, Web Page Building, E-mail, Scanners & Digital Cameras, Adobe PhotoShop, etc.) and my "artistic canvas" is web pages.  I really enjoy "expressing" myself through my web pages, in words, pictures, and sound.  I also am a music lover. My partner Jace and myself built and maintain a large Midi web page called  The Midindx.

This Digital Photography page?  Well, it all started with the purchase of an Olympus C2020Zoom Digital Camera in late spring of this year (2000.)  And, it ended up being a very enjoyable hobby.  Cindy and I have taken thousands of pictures to date, and there is no sign of us slowing down yet.

    Why do we take digital pictures?  Well, for many reasons. 

1.  We both enjoy photography.
2.  We both enjoy the outdoors, water (the bay, rivers & streams,)  nature, birds, and natural beauty.  
3.  We both build web pages and have used many of our "original" digital pictures on our web pages.
4.  We team teach Digital Photography classes at the local Technical College.
5.  We have started to print high quality pictures and are framing/displaying some of them.

Cindy & I met, because of the digital camera.  We work together, and both enjoy & work with computers, and both like art, photography, and music too.  Since we met, we have become good friends and share the digital camera, and our love of photography, art and music, as well as web page design.

Thus, this page...we hope that you will enjoy it's contents.  And maybe,  you'll even pick up a tip or two that will make your use/enjoyment of digital cameras... just a little more fun.
