is a Multi-Media Web Portal Focusing on Learning. I also consider
it to be: "a non-commercial portal website, a starting point for
internet beginners, and it is the home of: The Aeronette,
Digital Camera Beginners Tutorial (DCBT), Internet Beginners
Tutorial (IBT),
NWTC-Marinette Accounting & Computer Courses and The
Tennisnette."
I call it a non-commercial
Portal Website because I believe that is fits the definition,
as follows:
"Portal is a new term,
generally synonymous with gateway, for a World Wide Web site that is
or proposes to be a major starting site for users when they get
connected to the Web or that users tend to visit as an anchor site."
It is non-commercial
because
www.inette.com
does not contain any paid advertisements...or nuisance pop-ups.
It is a starting point
for internet beginners. I am attempting to create a user friendly
environment for them. A place where they can be comfortable.
And it is the home of The
Aeronette, because of my interest in aviation. (I am a
computer simulator pilot only, but always wanted to be a licensed
pilot...even volunteered for the Air Force quite a few years
ago. Who knows, maybe someday I'll just go and get my pilot's license!
The home of the new
Midwest Culture - Art & Culinary Delights pages because I and a
good friend have become hooked on Digital Photography, take lots of
pictures, have team-taught Digital Camera classes recently, and we are
deeply interested in finding and providing as many resources as we can
for ourselves and our students as well as anyone else who may stumble
upon these pages..
The home of the
Internet Beginners Tutorial (IBT), because I felt there is/was a
need for some easy to follow, easy to understand help...beyond the
classroom, and outside of books for new internet users.
And finally, it is the
home of The Tennisnette.
