September, 1995 - September, 1999 - Team-taught computer application workshops at UW-Marinette with Jason Cook (evening/weekends.) The workshops included all Microsoft Office applications, Web Page Building using MS FrontPage, Adobe Photo Shop, Windows, and a College for Kids workshop series including Web Page Building for Beginners.

September, 1992 - Present - Adjunct Instructor - NWTC-Marinette - Teach Accounting Courses including:  Accounting 1, 2, 3, 4; Accounting for Supervisory Management; Accounting - Automated Applications; Corporate & Partnership Income Tax; Cost; Financial Accounting; Managerial Accounting; Payroll; Personal Income Tax; and have taught: Credit Procedures & Economics.

September, 1997 - Present - Adjunct Instructor - NWTC-Marinette - Teach/have taught:   Micro Basics-MS Office; Self-Paced Learning (Windows, Word I & II, Excel I & II, Access, I & II, and Power Point); Web Page Design (MS FrontPage); E-mail; Internet I, II, & III; Scanner I & II; Digital Camera I & II.

I use my personal web page ( www.inette.com ) as a teaching tool in my accounting and computer applications courses.  My pages include an Internet Beginners' Tutorial and a Digital Camera Beginners Tutorial as well as Computer pages.

Computer Experience

I Have been working with computers for over 20 years.  My 1st computer was a Timex Sinclair 2000.

June, 1996 - Co-developed, authored, produced, and maintain a commercial web page - Farmers & Merchants Bank & Trust (one of 1st 10 banks in the state of Wisconsin to post a web page)

Since December, 1996 - Have been developing/improving a personal web page - inette.com which I use as a teaching/learning tool in my computer and accounting courses at NWTC-Marinette.

I am currently using Windows98, ME, and XP, Microsoft Office XP, Microsoft FrontPage 2002 as well as various photo enhancement programs such as Adobe PhotoShop7.0 and L-View Pro.  I also have/use CD-Read/Write, Scanners, and Digital Cameras.

In my Micro Basics - MS Office courses, I bring in an old computer and take it apart for the students...let them see, touch, and install/remove RAM, modems, sound cards and have them examine a hard drive and a CPU.

I know HTML, java-script, a little java, have done some work with Visual Basic and have created macros.  I have taken programming courses in Fortran and COBOL, am familiar with DOS, and have worked in the following operating systems:  DOS, Windows 3.1, 95, and 98 as well as Linux, and Windows NT.

2001 - Opened www.craneproject.com The main pages for this work-in-progress collaborative project are the Midwest Culture/Art & Culinary Delights pages.  These pages focus on Digital Photography and Restaurant Reviews.  The pages include Digital Photography Galleries, Animations, Flash, and Tutorials as well as Midwest Restaurant Reviews.

Community Service

1982-1992 - Rotary Club of Marinette - Treasurer

1989-1999 - River Cities Recreation Task Force - Treasurer (funded/built an indoor hockey facility, indoor tennis facility, and an indoor swimming pool) and served as the project coordinator for the indoor hockey/tennis facilities.

1986-present - Tri-City Tennis Association, Inc.   Founding member, 1st President, current Treasurer

1989 - present - USTA/Midwest Section/Wisconsin Tennis Association, Board Member, currently serving as Executive Vice President, am a member of the Management Committee, Chair the Recreation and Information/Technology Committees, and am Supervising Officer of the Adult Recreation, Nominating, and Bylaws Committees.

2000 - Appointed to the Marinette Area Chamber of Commerce Education Committee and the Mini-Business World Committee.  I have facilitated the 2-day, local Mini Business World since 2001 and will do so again in April, 2004 (MBW includes 36 high school students and 6 local community business leader advisors.) The students form a company, make business decisions based on a computer simulation, develop and market a product... all in 2 days.

In 2002, I was appointed Co-Chair of the Education Committee.
