Please note: Junior Age Eligibility Rule Change
Taken from the USTA/Midwest Section/Wisconsin Official Guide
page 40

1999 Ranking Year Age Eligibility (Juniors)

THE NEW RULE

ALL JUNIOR PLAYERS, BEGINNING JANUARY, 1999, if you compete in USTA
Sanctioned events, you may play an age division until the month in which you
age up, or, in other words until your birthday month.  This means that players
who are 12, 14, 16, or 18 years old may continue to play in their 12, 14, 16, or 18
age division until the month in which they turn 13, 15, 17, or 19, respectively.  For
example:  A player who turns 15 in October, may play in the 14 age division up to
and through September.  Starting October 1, this player MUST play in the 16
and under age division.

As in the past, you may also elect to play in an older age division before
you are required to do so.   However, it is important that you consult your section's
rulings to be certain of your eligibility in more than one age division
before making this choice.
